One of the first goals of this website is to see how fast we can get 5,000 unique views in one day. If this site reaches its goal before October 2008, I will donate 2,000 dollars to charity through justgive.org . If it reaches this goal before November 2008 I will donate 1000 dollars. If it reaches this goal before January 2009 I will donate 500 dollars.

After this goal is reached, the sky is the limit. I will set a new goal and we can go from there.

One simple and easy way to increase website traffic is by joining webrings. These networks are designed to increase website traffic by affiliating your site with other similar websites in your particular niche. However what tends to happen is that only the smaller and less popular sites join these rings. Web Rings in simple terms are a group of like-minded sites all linking to each other. Web rings are usually made up of these small to medium-sized websites with low page rank… not the best tool to drive the masses, however still useful when just starting out.

A web ring can be created on just about any topic, and by just about anybody. After creating a ring, the owner is responsible for attracting and approving applicants. Approved websites become part of the web ring.

Navigating through webrings is normally done by using the “next”, “previous” “random site” and “complete list” links. The first original web ring system, which is now a part of Yahoo! is still very much by far the most popular and can be found at webring.org .
